What is special about Maps Medics?

Maps Medics is a comprehensive e-learning platform that helps medical students succeed. Our case-based approach simulates the USMLE experience, and our video library covering +3,600 board-style questions is aligned with the USMLE course outline. Our platform uses simple language and visual aids to make complex concepts easy to understand. Our team of experienced educators also offers personalized support. Choose Maps Medics to save time and money on your medical education journey.

At Maps Medics, we use case-based learning to teach medical students. This efficient method allows students to simulate the USMLE examination from day one and involves presenting them with realistic high-yield clinical cases and having them diagnose and treat the patient. This helps students experience board-style questions and develop critical thinking, pattern recognition and problem-solving skills. It also saves their time as it avoids the traditional approach of using board review books. Case-based learning is more interactive and engaging, allowing students to take an active role in their learning, and aids retaining information. We believe it is an essential part of a comprehensive medical education and have integrated it into our platform to give students the best possible learning experience.

While our question bank is purely in English, our live lectures and video library are currently conducted in a mix of Arabic and English.

At Maps Medics, we understand how important it is for medical students to be well-prepared for the USMLE. That is why we have carefully designed our +3,600 high-yield board-style questions to simulate the questions that appear on the USMLE exam. Our questions are developed by experienced educators and reviewed by subject matter experts to ensure that they are accurate and reflect the content and format of the USMLE exam. We offer in-depth explanations for correct and incorrect choices, and continuous updates to maintain a high standard of excellence. By practicing with these questions, medical students can gain valuable experience and boost their chances of success on the USMLE.
We offer account validity for a period of 365 days. However, if a member has booked their examination date within 2 months after the expiration of their account, a grace period may be offered at the discretion of Maps Medics upon e-mail communication.  Start as early as possible. You can start preparing for the USMLE during any year of your medical school. The first semester of your first year is not too early. It is generally advisable for medical students to start preparing for the USMLE as early as possible during medical school. This is because the USMLE covers a wide range of medical knowledge and skills, and it can take time to adequately review all of the material. In addition, the earlier you start preparing for the USMLE, the more time you will have to identify any knowledge gaps and focus on areas that need improvement. By starting early, you can also spread out your studying over a longer period of time, which may help reduce stress and improve your chances of success on the exam.
Students can avoid the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) 2024 accreditation deadline for medical schools by registering an account on the ECFMG. It is important for students to register as early as possible before the ECFMG's 2024 medical school accreditation limit goes into effect in order to ensure that they are able to take the exam at their convenience, even after 2024. To avoid missing the deadline, students should make sure to carefully read and follow all instructions provided by the ECFMG, and ensure that all required documentation is submitted in a timely manner.
